Coach thinks Conor McGregor retires in 2-3 years

Conor McGregor’s coach John Kavanagh was asked when he thinks Conor will retire. Kavanagh responded in 2-3 years.
He also said Conor was back training on Monday, just 2 days after the fight with Nate Diaz.
Kavanagh says: don’t know whats next. decision will be made over the next 2 weeks i’d imagine. personally i’d like the 55 title….but we’ll see what happens
Conor’s leg is fine, in theory he could be ready for the New York card in November, but nothing is definite.
In 2 years Conor would be 30 years old.
Conor has always talked about getting in, getting rich, and getting out of the fight game. He told GQ Magazine earlier this year:
I am not stupid. I am a very bright guy. I know that in the fighting game, you get people who get brain damage and do themselves long-term harm. I am into it in a big way, and I am good at it, and I am going to get very, very rich and then I will get out and we will see what comes after that.
Conor walked away from MMA in 2013 because he couldn’t make a living doing it, but then he unexpectedly received a call from the UFC to make his debut in the organization.
He has gone from collecting social welfare in 2013 to being the sports biggest star, making an estimated $15 million for his last fight, and being on the Forbes list for the highest paid athletes.
McGregor has used some of his earnings to pay off his parent’s mortgage, buy them BMWs, and says: I have unemployed my sisters, they don’t need to work, don’t need to worry about a thing. I have unemployed my girlfriend. She had a job working for a cardiologist and now she can hang out, put her feet up, buy all the things she wants
Conor’s sister recently posted this pic of them as kids with caption: Just the 3 of us. Who knew you’d change our lives forever.
