11 scheduled UFC / MMA fights which were scheduled but didn’t take place.

At UFC 87, Brock Lesnar fought Heath Herring. But he wasn’t supposed to.
He was scheduled to fight Mark Coleman. However, an achilles injury forced Coleman out of the fight.
Mark Hunt and boxer Butterbean were supposed to fight at Pride 32 in Las Vegas in October 2006.
But Nevada State Athletic Commission would not allow the match-up as they argued that Hunt’s wins over Wanderlei Silva and Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipović gave him an unfair advantage on the mat. It’s somewhat strange as Hunt is almost entirely a striker and didn’t win those fights with his ground game, although he did attempt an atomic butt drop on Wanderlei.
Anthony Pettis was scheduled to drop down to 145 to fight Jose Aldo for the featherweight title at UFC 163 in August 2013. But Pettis sustained a knee injury and the fight never happened. The Korean Zombie replaced him and was TKO’d by Aldo in the 4th round. But Pettis could fight Aldo in the not too distant future since has has dropped to featherweight.
In August 2009 Josh Barnett was scheduled to fight Fedor Emelianenko at Affliction: Trilogy. But Josh Barnett tested positive for PEDs and was removed from the card 10 days before the show. The event ended up being cancelled and Affliction decided to end their MMA promotion.
Chael Sonnen and Wanderlei Silva were supposed to fight at UFC 173 in May 2014, but that fight was shifted to the TUF Brazil 3 Finale, and once again shifted to UFC 175 because according to Dana White, Silva injured his hand in the brawl with Chael on the show.
But Wanderlei was pulled from the fight for not submitting an application to fight in the state of Nevada and refusing to undergo a random drug test. So Vitor Belfort replaced Wanderlei to fight Chael, but then Chael failed his random drug test and was pulled from the fight, and Chael decided to retire. But he’s potentially returning to MMA in the not too distant future.
TJ Grant earned a lightweight title shot against Ben Henderson in August 2013 but Grant sustained a concussion training for the fight and could not take the bout. He still hasn’t returned to MMA 3 years later and it’s unclear if he will ever fight again.
The concussion also prevented TJ from getting a title shot against Anthony Pettis. And Josh Thomson stepped in to fight Pettis for the title. But Pettis pulled out due to a knee injury. Thomson ended up losing his next 3 fights and never got back to a title contender position and left the UFC for Bellator.
Conor McGregor was scheduled to fight Cole Miller in July 2014 but Cole pulled out due to a thumb injury and was replaced by Diego Brandao, who Conor TKO’d in the first round. Just 4 fights after that TKO Conor would fight Jose Aldo and win the featherweight title.
Karo Parisyan had a rough time in his last 11 fights scoring 5 wins and 6 losses. but in November 2015 he was supposed to fight for the welterweight title against Matt Hughes. But Parisyan sustained a hamstring injury and pulled out of the fight was replaced by Joe Riggs, who lost by kimura in first round.
Jon Jones was supposed to defend his title against Dan Henderson at UFC 151 on September 1st, 2012. But Henderson got injured and Jones did not take a fight on 8 days notice against Chael Sonnen. So the card was cancelled.
