Conor McGregor headlined 2 UFC pay per view events in 2015.
UFC 189 against Chad Mendes and UFC 194 against Jose Aldo.
MMA Junkie reports that the combined pay per views earned 2.025 million buys,
which ended up being slightly more than a quarter of the UFC’s pay per view sales for the year.
Ronda Rousey headlined 3 cards in 2015 and those ended up garnering a total of 2.6 million pay per view buys.
This year McGregor will probably make up just over 50% of the company’s pay per view revenue.
He and Nate Diaz headlined the 2 biggest UFC pay per views of the year,
UFC 196 did 1.6 million buys and UFC 202 did 1.65 million buys.
And the next card McGregor is headlining, UFC 205, may do an higher buy rate as it is the most stacked card in the history
of the organization

But 2017 may a year McGregor takes off according to various reports.
He will likely clear that up after the fight on November 12th.
After that 205 show the only pay per views left are the 206 card on December 10th,
which will not generate a high amount of pay per view sales, the first time Cormier and Johnson fought they garnered 375,000 buys.
But the 207 card is a strong one and the return of Ronda Rousey will perculate mainstream interest and help that end
of the year event cross the mark of one millon buys. The last time Rousey fought the card generated 1.1 million buys at
UFC 193 in November 2015.
