at UFC 205 when he takes on Kelvin Gastelum. #8 ranked bantamweight Aljamain Sterling takes on
Rafael Assuncao on December 9th in Albany, New York.
Sterling appeared on the MMA Hour on Monday and his teammate Gian Villante brought up a story regarding an altercation that
Sterling and Donald Cerrone had in the past during a UFC related event.
In August 2014, UFC lightweight Bobby Green accussed Cowboy of saying random racist sh*t.
Cowboy said he’s not racist and said he had three black guys living with him at the time.
At UFC 150 in August 2012, Cerrone knocked out his former teammate and his friend Melvin Guillard, he and Melvin
hugged backstage, but again Cowboy got accused of using the N Word, but he denies that he did so.
Cerrone has looked outstanding since moving up to welterweight in February of this year, he’s already won 3 times and in just 6 months he’s been able to
achieve the #6 ranking in the divison.
Cowboy is one of the most active fighters in the history of the UFC. He will fight for the 4th time this year on November 12th,
and is aiming to compete for a 5th time at UFC 207 on December 30th.
The name he threw out to fight on that show is Demian Maia.
That 207 event is the final card of the year, but in temrs of the UFC’s 2017 schedule, they have announced that they will
making a stop in Phoenix on January 15th for UFC Fight Night 103. And they will be doing a Superbowl weekend fight night card on February 4th in Houston.
For the 205 card coming up on Saturday, Conor McGregor a -155 favourite against Eddie Alvarez.
