UFC Stars Announce MMA Athletes Association, Not a Union (FULL Media Call)

Don’t call it a union, but the several UFC fighters have banded together alongside Bellator founder Bjorn Rebney to form a UFC fighters association.

Tim Kennedy, Georges St-Pierre, Donald Cerrone, Cain Velasquez, and TJ Dillashaw on Wednesday, November 30, 2016, announced the formation of the Mixed Martial Arts Athletes Association.

The five fighters and Rebney spent a lengthy session announcing the new association, which is to right the wrongs perpetrated upon past UFC fighters and to secure a better deal for current and future UFC fighters, which includes not only a bigger share of profits, but better benefits and a pension.
