Mark Hunt and Alistair Overeem will rematch at UFC 209 on March 4th in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The two fought in July 2008 and Overeem won in a minute and 11 seconds by armbar.
Hunt says: “Overeem was one of my losses over a 7 fight losing streak when I was fighting battles outside the ring as well as inside.
“I couldn’t have beaten a wooden chair at that time in my life. I’ve never lost a rematch and I’m not about to.

Hunt also wants a specific clause in his contract, he says:
“My clause will protect me in this instance and take the financial gain of the opponent of caught cheating,
“That deterrent will protect me and other fighters. I’m pushing for this clause, I want to fight and I am ready. If the fight doesn’t go ahead it’s not my doing”
“I will not fight without this clause. I’ve already fought 3 dopers in a row and I’m not going to fight again without security.
All I want is a fair go and an even playing field.”

Jose Aldo tells Ariel Helwani he’s not fighting Max Holloway on February 11th.
He’ll be be fighting either March 3rd or 4th and he says: I believe they will soon announce an interim lightweight title fight with me.
They’ve been trying to find me an opponent, and — surprise, surprise — at least one has already turned down the fight against me.
I’m waiting to see who they will find. When asked who turned down the fight, Aldo says: I won’t say who it is because it’s a surprise.
A guy we never thought would turn it down turned it down, because his father didn’t think it was good.
Tony Ferguson tells Khabib Nurmagomedov: I Agreed To Fight You, Now Need To Agree On Terms… Ball Is In Their Court.
Sounds Like They Don’t Want You To Lose Bud. @Danawhite Must’ve Paid You Good With Your New Deal! You’re Being Fairly Paid, Now It’s My Turn.
I Want This Fight, But Won’t Take Peanuts
Waterson vs. VanZant drew the biggest UFC television audience in nearly three years. It peaked at 4.8 million viewers.
On Gegard Mousasi calling him out, Chris Weidman says: Easy, Pal. You were just one of a few names given by @UFC, and I’m still healing up.
Glad you’re finally speaking, though!
And if Cody Garbrandt wins the UFC title he’ll be willing to give it to his friend and cancer survivor Maddux Maple, and just take a replica belt for himself.
