Ronda Rousey got TKOd in 48 seconds Friday night by Amanda Nunes, and while most sense she will retire from MMA,
UFC light-heavyweight Jon Jones thinks she shouldn’t hang up the up gloves just yet.
He says: My advice to Ronda would be to pick yourself up and try again.
I think it’s important for Ronda to show her fans how great she truly is by displaying her courage and giving it another try.
What she does next will truly determine her legacy. I really hope she chooses to be unbroken. Her story doesn’t have to be over here
I also still believe she beats 90% of the division. Lots of ass kicking still to be done, lots of money to be made
seems like the whole MMA world is against her boxing coach. I’ve never seen him work, maybe he’s not the problem
Maybe she just needs to complement her coach with an MMA family. Maybe she should join one of the bigger MMA teams
Ronda Rousey’s boyfriend Travis Browne trained at Jon Jones’ gym, the Jackson Wink academy, but moved to the same gym as Ronda in 2014.
Jon Jones also says: Being around other bad asses and constantly sharing your spotlight could be good for you in so many ways.
They can improve on your humility. Constantly being humbled is never a bad thing in a sport like this
In a month Ronda will turn 30 years old. She began fighting as an amateur in August 2010, as a pro in March 2011.
Jon Jones’s USADA suspension will be over in July. In the mean time he has been competing in grappling tournaments, he defeated Dan Henderson earlier this month,
was rumored to be taking on Luke Rockhold at a future event, and has interest in competing against Anderson Silva in the future.
