Forbes released its 2017 list of the world’s 100 highest paid athletes.
Conor McGregor comes in at #24, earning $34 million, $27 million from his fights, 7 milion from endorsements.
If the Mayweather fight happens he’ll earn another $75 milion.
The top 10 on the list include Ronaldo, Lebron, Messi, Federer, Durant, McIlroy, Luck, Curry, Harden, and
Hamilton.
4 days after his win at UFC 212, Brian Kelleher gets his next fight vs Marlon Vera on July 22nd.
TJ Dillashaw is still training for Demetrious Johnson. He’s staying on track to fight at 125 pounds.
He says he would pay DJ his guarantee out of his pocket if he failed to make weight
Although I really would like to see DJ vs TJ, they’re doing one of the best ever a huge disservice treating
him and the division this way.
Did an interview not too long ago where I said there was a good chance the future of the flyweight division
is outside the UFC.
Mainly because of their lack of push and promotion.
On his podcast, Bisping says win or lose after his next fight, he wants to fight for a final time in England
and call it a day.
Randy Couture says if Bellator needs an alternate to step in for the main or co-main event later this
month, they should let him now. He hasn’t fought since 2011, he turns 54 two days before the event,
Couture is a multiple time UFC champion, the first fighter to win UFC belts in 2 different weight classes,
and a member of the UFC hall of fame.
Max Holloway is now #5 in the pound for pound rankings. Aldo drops to #10.
Kenny Florian says he wouldn’t be shocked to see Max become a 2 division champion at some point.
Holloway eventually expects to move up to 155 later in his career.
