The initial report that Gegard Mousasi has signed with Bellator MMA was confirmed when Mousasi appeared on the
MMA Hour on Monday.
Mousasi says:
It’s a 6 fight deal.
He wants to become the middleweight champ and then the light-heavyweight champ in Bellator.
It wasn’t just about the money, but also working with Scott Coker, who treats fighters with respect.
But he has nothing bad to say about the UFC.
The Bellator Middleweight division is thin on talent compared to the UFC’s roster of 185ers.
But there may be some more challenges for Mousasi in the light-heavyweight division of Bellator.
Mousasi also said he’d also consider fighting at heavyweight, and also taking on Rory MacDonald.
There’s a Conor McGregor documentary coming out on October 2nd, it was created by Universal Studios.
Floyd Mayweather’s asking the IRS to wait until the McGregor fight to pay his taxes, he didn’t pay his 2015 taxes in full.
He also had an issue in 2011 with the IRS where he had to pay $3.4 million owed from 2009.
And the New York Post does an article on MMA, the headline is Ronda Rousey and her fiancé are fading UFC losers.
